The scientific committee of the ANACON-2018 invites all interested individuals for online submission of abstracts of research papers (in extended format) not exceeding 900 words (in MS WORD) to be considered for Oral/Poster Presentation by October 15, 2018 at this website. Abstracts Submission Guidelines

  1. All abstracts must be submitted via this webpage (Abstracts submitted via email or as hard copies will not be considered)
  2. Abstract needs to prepared as per the following structure:
    • SUMMARY (between 100-150 words)
    • BACKGROUND
    • METHODOLOGY
    • RESULTS
    • CONCLUSION
    • REFERENCES (limited to maximum FOUR; avoid citing generalized references like AOAC and Snedecor and Cochran etc.)
  3. A maximum of one graph or one table is allowed to be submitted as a part of an abstract. Any table/graph should be prepared keeping in mind the space available especially the column width in a A4 page (Please see the model abstract for idea)
  4. Length of the abstract should not exceed 900 words.
  5. The reference section must be formatted as per the following pattern:

    Books: Underwood, E.J. and Suttle, N.F. 1999. The Mineral Nutrition of Livestock, 3rd ed. CABI Publishing, Wallingford, UK, p. 132.

  6. While submitting, the author has to choose one of the following thematic area under which the research contained in the abstract is best-fitted:
    • Feeds, Feeding & Nutrition
    • Feed additives and Micronutrients
    • Nutrition, Health and Environment
  7. Each author may only submit a maximum of TWO abstracts.
  8. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  9. All notifications regarding abstract status, including notifications regarding acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the presenting author.
  10. The ANACON 18 Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation or otherwise.
  11. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author along with instructions for the preparation of posters and information regarding projection facilities and scheduling.
  12. The presenting author is expected to attend the Conference and present the abstract.
